recentemente chegou a Índia.
Bhavisya Purana- Some parts added by sectarians
This article have the intention to present the popular edition of the Bhavisya Purana wich contain prophecies. But, here we will see how some parts were added by some Christians or Hindus on this known edition by giving some evidences related to the topics. Below the edition-translation of the Bhaviasya Purana as we know nowadays and in the end 2 comentaries about the parts that were added.
The Bhavishya Purana is an ancient text authored by Sri Vyasa Muni, the compiler of the Vedic texts. It is listed among the eighteen major Puranas. Bhavishya means "future" and Purana means "history", so the text's name would translate literally as "The History of the Future". Though the text was written many thousands of years before the recorded events took place, by the power of his mystic vision, Sri Vyasa was able to accurately predict the happenings of the modern times. One of the text's poetic styles is to present the events as though they have already happened. This is a common practice in Sanskrit poetry, and does not indicate that the book was written in modern times. |

Then, on the second day after my arrival here [in India], my Gurudeva told me: “The first thing you have to do is to collect all what you learned, read, excerpted, felt, know. Put it in a big bag and throw it into the sea where the sea is deepest and start anew.”
Once when I felt sad, because I hadn’t been raised as a Hindu in India and didn’t have the inner associations that every Hindu has together with the concepts deva, devi, avatara, bhakti etc., he was even angry and said: “You missed nothing. It is a blessing that you did not imbibe all these associated ideas. You would have learned only wrong things. There is nothing to be learned from people, poets etc. You have to learn from God directly – i.e. what God teaches in His Own words.”
Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati to Svami Sadananda Dasa:
I myself [Svami] would never have been where I am today, if not already
as a youth I doubted what people, poets, scholars said and prepared
myself to learn the most strange languages, just to be able to read a
text that dealt with God and the meaning of life in the original text
itself and free myself from what others read into it from their mind and
heart. Then, on the second day after my arrival here [in India], my Gurudeva told me: “The first thing you have to do is to collect all what you learned, read, excerpted, felt, know. Put it in a big bag and throw it into the sea where the sea is deepest and start anew.”

escura.

Líder espírita Chico Xavier glorifica a supremacia Védica no campo filósofo-religioso.

tocar harmonio, esaraj, vina, mrdanga,
tabla e outros instrumentos.
Pouco
depois, quando Sri Vinodbihari Brahmachari estava com Srila Prabhupad,
Prabhupad o instruiu: “Você escutou o kirtan?

Humility only for the truth- not for rascals! by Prabhupad Saraswati Thakur
Sometimes,
there is a misunderstanding that humility means sentimental
submissiveness, where one takes a weak position and accepts anything and
everything, even if it is against Hari, Guru, Vaisnava and bhakti.
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur Prabhupada has established: "The mahājanas (the great spiritual authorities) have advised that one’s humility should not be made evident in front of anyone and everyone. To express one’s humility in front of an atheist who is envious of śrī guru and the Vaiṣṇavas, in front of a demoniac person like Rāvaṇa or in front of a pretentious brāhmaṇa, is not vaiṣṇava-sevā, nor is it tṛṇād api sunīcatā. If a person does so, he can never attain the ability to perform kīrtana, nor can he develop taste for chanting the holy names. In fact, such a misplaced display of humility is an act of violence toward other living entities.".... "Humility implies perfect submission to the truth and no sympathy for untruth. A person who entertains any partiality for untruth is unfit to chant the kirtana of Hari."

Very dificult time is coming in Gaudiya Vaishavism.
"After
the time of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, those faithful to Him kept apart
from nondevotees, to avoid contamination. Seeing this, the personality
of Kali sent his representatives in disguise to pollute the Vaisnava sampradaya.
Posing as Vaisnavas, they spread their wicked doctrines, and appeared
so intelligent and devoted that only pure devotees could detect their
real identity. Most devotees -- not only the most neophyte – were
enchanted by their tricks. In this way Kali's agents expertly introduced
karma, jnana, and anyabhilasa in the Vaisnava sampradaya and caused
suddha-bhakti to vanish from the world."

Self-complacent and always impudent, deluded by wealth and false prestige, they sometimes perform sacrifices in name only without following any rules or regulations.
PURPORT
Thinking themselves all in all, not caring for any authority or scripture, the demoniac sometimes perform so-called religious or sacrificial rites. And since they do not believe in authority, they are very impudent. This is due to illusion caused by accumulating some wealth and false prestige. Sometimes such demons take up the role of preacher, mislead the people, and become known as religious reformers or as incarnations of God. They make a show of performing sacrifices, or they worship the demigods, or manufacture their own God. Common men advertise them as God and worship them, and by the foolish they are considered advanced in the principles of religion, or in the principles of spiritual knowledge. They take the dress of the renounced order of life and engage in all nonsense in that dress. Actually there are so many restrictions for one who has renounced this world. The demons, however, do not care for such restrictions. They think that whatever path one can create is one's own path; there is no such thing as a standard path one has to follow. The word avidhi-pūrvakam, meaning disregard for the rules and regulations, is especially stressed here. These things are always due to ignorance and illusion.
How then can one who is covered by ignorance give divine, transcendental, spiritual knowledge consisting of metaphysical knowledge of God and creation, the process of devotional service, and the goal of love of God?
Rather, unqualified persons who falsely present themselves as spiritual masters are engaged in bringing about ruin on themselves and the world. The relation between a spiritual master and his disciple is something of great significance. It is a great responsibility—indeed, it is a matter of life and death.
Yet, out of their greed for gain, prestige, and adoration, there are still irresponsible people who treat it as lightly as a child’s game.

Everything is possible in the realm of pure devotees.
Srila Bhakti Dayita Madhav
Goswami Maharaj ‘Vishnupad’, disciple of His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Siddhant
Saraswati Goswami Thakur Prabhupada, was once engaged in preaching programs
across Assam (a state in India).
One of the disciples of Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya
Math requested Him that if He can come and perform shraadha (ceremony ritual to
pay homage to departed souls) of disciple’s deceased father. Disciple said that
his father was not a devotee, however, if Srila Madhav Maharaj will conduct
this ceremony, then disciple’s father will be benefited.
Srila Madhav Maharaj
replied after referring to His schedule that He would be in Kolkata at that
time, where preaching programs would be going on. So, He said that He will send
some competent person or devotee for the ceremony. Disciple requested politely
that it would be good for disciple’s family, if Srila Madhav Maharaj can come.
During the preaching programs in Kolkata, Srila Madhav Maharaj asked Srila
Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Goswami Maharaj, Sri Mangal Nilay Prabhu and one of His
godbrothers (Srila Krishna Keshav Brahmchari) to go to Assam. The train to
Assam was delayed, due to which the devotees could not reach the desitantion on
time. When they were bit far from the house of the said devotee, who has
invited, the trio saw that the function is over, and everyone is washing hands
after honoring prasadam, etc.
Srila Mangal Nilay prabhu said that this is not
nice. They did not wait for us and have concluded the program. So, we shall not
go there now. Srila Tirtha Maharaj said that you are right. But, if Srila
Gurudeva will ask about the program, then what will we reply. Delay was not
because of us, but because of train. Srila Krishna Keshav prabhu agreed with
Srila Tirtha Maharaj. So, all three went to devotee’s house.
Devotees were
pleased to see them. They asked that why you did not come with Sri Madhav
Maharaj? Had you come with Him, it would have been very nice. Sril Keshav
Prabhu said that we have program of our Kolkata Math, so Sri Madhav Maharaj
could not come. He has sent us. The devotees in the house stood stunned.
Then
the disciple (host) came forward and said that what are you saying? Sri
Gurudeva Madhav Maharaj came here. He gave a lecture (discourse), performed the
ceremony and has just left after honoring prasadam. This time these three were
stunned and began wandering that how is this possible? Host took them around
and pointed where Srila Madhav Maharaj sat to give lecture, and where He
performed ceremony and where He sat to honor prasadam, and so on. After that
the three devotees bathed, honored prasadam, performed sankirtan in the evening
and left for Kolkata , next day.
Once they reached Kolkata, they asked the
resident devotees, that who was giving lecture yesterday. All answered that
Srila Gurudeva and other Sannyasi (renounced) devotees gave lecture. Then these
devotees inquired that in between did Srila Gurudeva went away for 2-3 days?
The answer was negative. They were informed that two days back Srila Gurudeva
along with lecture, lead Sankirtan as well. They were surprised.
After keeping
the luggage in the respective rooms, they went to meet Srila Madhav Maharaj.
They offered obeisances. Srila Madhav Maharaj inquired about the trip, program,
etc.
Srila Tirtha Maharaj said, ‘ Our train was delayed. When we reached there,
we heard from devotees that Yourself performed the ceremony, gave lecture, etc.
‘
Srila Madhav Maharaj smiled, but did not reply.
Srila Tirtha Maharaj again
said that how could this be possible that Yourself were performing Sankirtan in
Kolkata with devotees as well as performing ceremony in Assam (Assam is very far
from Kolkata) at the same time.
Srila Madhav Maharaj did not reply and said,
‘You have traveled for so long. Freshen up and honor prasadam.’
Guru Maharaj is not a ordinary person!
Dear Prabhu/Sister,
Hare Krishna.Dandvat Pranam.I am in Guwahati nowadays. Srila Gurumaharaj, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Goswami Maharaj is exhibiting pastimes of not so good health, in worldly sense. So I am here. Due to high blood pressure, there was some problem. Now, things are improving.
Two days ago, Tridandi Swami Sri Pujyapad Bhakti Bhushan Bhagawat Maharaj came here and he went to meet Srila Gurumaharaj in His room. He stayed here for a while. After coming out, he asked all the present to assemble in the hall of Math, as he wanted to say something. In his lecture, he said that he went to meet Srila Gurudeva in His room. Srila Gurudeva was lying on His bed. However He did not recognize me or could speak anything. His 'sevak' team informed him that Srila Gurudeva had experienced some brain stroke couple of days back. This has affected His right side portion.
Maharaj ji spoke a verse , 'yashya shakshat gyan deep pare..........' and explained that through this verse Sage Narada explained to King Yuddhishtara that those who consider Gurudeva/Sadguru as ordinary human, his/her all devotional activities are null, as good as bathing by an elephant (Hasti snan).
He also said that when I was very young, I am with your Gurudeva. He is a very exalted devotee since beginning.
He also narrated many pastimes of Srila Gurudeva, including His devotion to Prasad, His exclusive devotion and services unto His Gurudeva (our Paramgurudeva, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Dayita Madhav Goswami Maharaj 'Vishnupad'). He also narrated one pastime, where a person was abusing Srila Gurudeva and Srila Gurudeva was so much immersed in transcendental realizations that He could not make out that somebody was abusing Him.
He said that by this he means to say, if we will see such exalted devotees like an ordinary human, then all our devotions, will be useless just like an offering into a yajna in which there is no fire.
In the end of his lecture he said that to realize the true form of Sadguru - Vaishnav and Sri Vigraha, we have to speak and listen again again glories of Guru-Vaishnav. We also have to chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra under the guidance of Vaishnavas, and must hear Harikatha from them.
Haribol.

Not by vote! Last Instruction of Srimad BHakti Dayit Madhav Goswami Maharaj.
Instructions for the Math after His departure
"I have registered the Math. The Math is no one's personal property. But that doesn't mean that I am going to leave this place a mess, with everyone in charge. I have therefore devised a management scheme, which is necessary for the proper running of the Math after I am gone. One person will be named Acharya; he will be the headman or president.
When I am gone, one person will take my place. Who will that be? My spiritual master did not like the idea that there should be a vote to decide the matter. To elect an acharya is not in accordance with the principles of Hari bhakti. God himself will decide who is the acharya. The acharya is the person who is most dear to the Lord. Who will make that decision? The proper arrangement is when the Lord himself says, 'This person is the one who is most dear to me.' Therefore the rule of the disciplic succession is that the choice should come from above. The correct process is that the order should be given from higher up. From the worldly point of view, everyone can get together to elect a leader, but the correct process is that the Lord himself indicates which devotee is filled with love for him, and he makes him the acharya. This is the process approved by scripture.
When Srila Prabhupada was ill, he asked the solicitor, Mr. J. N. Basu, to write up a constitution. We heard that the constitution could be made according to one of two methods, by nomination or by election. Finally, the constitution was written according to the latter method. But Srila Prabhupada did not like it and he rejected it. I and two or three others were personally present when it happened. You cannot decide who is a sadhu, an acharya or realized soul by taking a vote on the matter. Someone will say one thing, another something else and the debate will simply go on. Therefore the proper method is that the Lord himself will choose which person should be honored with the position of acharya. The scripture enjoins us to respect this process.
This process is not followed only in the Gaudiya sampradaya; it can be seen in every Vaishnava sampradaya, the Ramanuja, Madhva, Nimbarka and Vishnusvami lines. This is the way that the disciplic succession is maintained. Therefore, the process ordained in the disciplic succession must be followed. I have therefore discussed with my senior godbrothers who are a part of the Gaudiya Math brotherhood, and I have decided to make Sriman Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha my successor and president in my absence....
When I have gone, that does not give you all an excuse to behave just as you please. The defining characteristic of a Vaishnava is following a devotee. The Lord's blessings follow the blessings of the devotee. When a devotee is merciful to someone, the Lord's mercy follows. This is the essence of my instruction to you, please follow it. I have written about this in more detail elsewhere.
It will not be correct if you try to expel someone from the Math as soon as there is some discord. That will result in chaos. You must first try to explain and clarify the situation. If that still doesn't work, then give the devotee some money and a letter and send him to another Math. Do not act impetuously, but try to work together by following the person who has been made leader. It is not proper to ignore his commands and to do as one pleases. One has to follow the directions of the temple commanders. All his commands are given for the service of the Lord, bear that in mind."

Who will come?
Generally people think that they should get some benefit from their
activities. "If we engage our sense organs by hearing about Krishna, by
speaking about Krishna, by remembering Krishna, what benefit will we
get?" Here tonight, several devotees have attended, and in other places
we see that the number attending may be less. But, if we were to
announce in the streets that each person who attended a class here in
Stanley Halls to hear a talk from a devotee and to chant the Holy Name
would be given $1,000, how many people do you think would come then? You
would have to call the police because so many people would become
devotees for two hours. They would earn $1,000 and consider their time
well spent. There would be no empty space in this room. But if you were
to announce that if they were to come to hear saints from India and be
rescued from the clutches of maya, from the entanglement in worldly,
non-eternal things and go to the Lotus Feet of the Supreme Lord, they
would not come. "What is this? They would say, "If we go there, they
should give us something." They would not come. Everybody is thinking of
how to make efficient use of his time - and time is money. It should
not be utilised without any purpose. This is the mentality.

The Nature of the Guileless Servant of Sri Guru by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada
The Nature of the
Guileless Servant of Sri Guru
by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati
Thakura Prabhupada
Question 1: What is the nature of the guileless servant of sri guru?
Answer: Were a
servant of sri guru truly selfless, he
would consider sri guru to
be devatatma – that is, he would
consider him to be [non-different from] the Supreme Lord
(devata) and the one person truly worthy of his love
and affection (dear like his own atma). And he
would always foster the conception, or belief, that
“Srila Gurudeva is my eternal master, and
I am his eternal servant.” Service to sri
guru would be his very life; it would be his
ornament and his existence.
He knows nothing
but sri guru. Under all circumstances –
while he is sleeping or dreaming or eating or engaged
in bhajana – he is always thinking
of sri gurudeva, taking his guidance and
following in his footsteps. He knows that sri
gurudeva, who is very dear to Sri Krsna, is completely
independent and is isvara-vastu – an
entity non-different from the Supreme Controller, Sri
Bhagavan.
I pray that whether or not
Srila Gurudeva accepts my service, as I am unqualified, I
shall always remain present to render service exclusively to
him by all means – through my mind, body and words. If
he rejects me, I shall know that I am unqualified, but Srila
Gurudeva is truth. So, my sole prayer is this: may temporary
sensual pleasures never distract me from serving Srila
Gurudeva, who is the eternal truth; may they not make me
averse to serving him – not even for a second –
may Srila Gurudeva mercifully accept my service; and may I
never fall into bad association and thus be deprived of his
association.
Although I am unqualified, my
sole recourse is the fact that he is especially
compassionate to those who are the most unqualified. Thus,
with the hope of receiving his causeless compassion, my
greed to engage in his service increases more and more.
Quem vai acreditar???
Quem
Alí ele começa a praticar
